Inspired by Elizabeth Taylor's 50's movie, Giant, the editorial is full of sophistication and elegance with retro trend fashion.

Above all, Hilary Rhoda, best known for her work as the face of Estee Lauder and 2009-2010 appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, is beautifully captured in these photos.

September Issue of Playing Fashion featuring Nataliya Gotsii and Sheila Marquez For The New York Collection F/W 2010

 

Taking a look behind the scenes of PF magazine's biggest issue of the year where photographer Ryan Yoon and stylist David Widjaja worked on a new Ukrainian editorial for the New York Collection F/W 2010.

The highlight of this shoot included all New York-based designer looks notably from Alexanda Wang, Donna Karan and Michael Kors.

Polham Padding Collection F/W 2010 and Welcome

Welcome to Ryan Yoon Studio blog! We have removed all previous entries to this blog to start fresh and new. We hope you subscribe to this blog to check out all our updates and blog entries in the future!

Recently, Ryan Yoon directed an upcoming winter jacket "Polham Padding Collection" F/W 2010.

Unlike a traditional print advertising campaign where models posed and were photographed, the Polham Padding Collection pictures were captured using a "Red One" video camera. The Red One video camera captures 4K video with raw still images. All the great, still photo moments of the photo shoot are then pulled from the video into high-quality still photos.

Isn't that amazing? At any given moment of the video, a photo "screen shot" can be extracted and used as a high-quality picture!

Of course, this is not a job for any one-person to accomplish. In order to successfully shoot this campaign, Ryan hired a producer, director of photography, and numerous movie crew members to shoot in Brooklyn for two days. All lighting and equipment was set up just like a movie shoot.
